Junior Firefighter Program

Do you have a child that is 14 to 18 years of age and is interested in learning about being a firefighter?  The Burlington Fire Protection District has an excellent Junior Firefighter Program that will guide your child through the appropriate training that is needed to enhance his opportunities as a firefighter. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to give us a call Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:00pm.

First Entry Level Training

With much success from the new Recruitment and Retention Coordinator, Greg Schultz, the Burlington Fire Protection District has now established a great 20 hour training program that allows them the ability to participate in non fire attack positions.  This is a great stepping stone for someone to see what its like to “Fill those Boots”
